Course Development

Scholars work in small groups to develop a college level course in Intensive Intervention.

Book Study and Collaborative Discussion

Fall Semester: Scholars read and discuss book 1 – McKeachie’s Teaching Tips: Strategies, Research, and Theory for College and University Teachers by Wilbert McKeachie – and consider the contents during course design.

Spring Semester: Scholars read book 2, If I Understood You, Would I Have This Look on My Face?: My Adventures in the Art and Science of Relating and Communicating by Alan Alda. Small groups of Scholars will have at least two phone calls to discuss the book contents.
